Amélie runs ‘by amélie’, a Brooklyn-based creative studio specialising in digital product design and writing. She uses cultural studies and design anthropology to inform her process.
She enjoys creating resources for underinvested communities. Her social good projects include Good for PoC, The Guide to Allyship, and People of Craft. She’s had the honour of presenting her research and work at places such as The White House, The Great Discontent, Etsy, Twitter, Dropbox and Cooper.
Amélie’s on a mission to engage designers in culturally-aware design discourse. She’s currently working on a project to help both designers and non-designers understand design’s impact on society.
